February,s booked charter boat trip was the first trip we managed to get out on this year so far due to the crap weather, both December and January trips were cancelled because of the weather so we were gonna make the most of this one.

Ten were booked on Crusader for the day with only 9 actually turning up, we later found out that gordon got on Sea Angler II by mistake before we all got there ha ha.

After a couple of hours steaming out south east we managed to get to fish a few wrecks between 20 – 30 miles out. The fishing was a bit slow but the weather was cracking, flat sea and a big sun. Pollock that we did manage to catch were in cracking condition up to 16lb, think we filled four fish boxes with pollock, ling and a nice cod just under 10lb.

A great day out was had by all and most are looking forward to future trips with bookings being filled every day. Next trip is on 31 March, book early if you want to to go.
